Specialist practice for aesthetic dental restorations
Even, white teeth with healthy tooth structure are considered a sign of beauty and elegance. Many patients want a long-lasting, radiant smile without visible dark tooth discoloration or misaligned teeth. Veneers, i.e. ceramic veneers, are used by Dr. Hager’s team to fulfill this wish without complications.
The smile of your dreams with veneers
Veneers help to maintain the desired shape and color of the front teeth. We will be happy to inform you about the options and costs.
Slight misalignments or discoloration of teeth can be corrected with veneers. The veneers help to close a gap between the teeth or visually straighten a crooked tooth. With all veneer restorations, the color of the teeth can also be adjusted and designed according to individual wishes. However, people are often dissatisfied with the shape or a broken corner of a tooth.
Veneers offer:
- A radiant white smile in just a few appointments
- Our dental technicians adapt the esthetic design to your teeth
- The veneer exactly matches the enamel of the neighboring teeth and is therefore not noticeable
- Light refraction and identical translucency are designed like the natural neighboring teeth
- The achieved tooth shade is permanently stable, the glass density and biologically high-quality surface does not absorb any discoloration and remains unchanged
- Very long durability thanks to state-of-the-art dental technology
“In some cases, the veneers are the ideal solution for us to minimally grind the “real teeth” only on the visible surfaces. As dentists, we are therefore happy to remove as little natural tooth structure as possible for the veneers.”
Dr. Eva Krapf
How are veneers fitted and bonded by the dentist?
Cost-effective initial examination and consultation
At your first appointment, your dentist will take the time to learn more about your dental history. You can express your wishes and expectations about the veneers while he explains what is possible and what results are realistic. He will also examine your gums and the condition of your teeth. In some cases, x-rays are necessary to assess the teeth and jawbone in more detail. He will also introduce you to different types of veneers and help you choose the right color to match your natural teeth.
First appointment: Minimal grinding / roughening of teeth
In the past, teeth were completely ground down in a circular shape and a crown was fitted in order to improve the esthetic appearance. Nowadays, various techniques are commonly used, and veneers from Dr. Hager represent the most gentle, aesthetic correction of the teeth.
With our innovative veneering technique, we reduce the grinding of the tooth to a minimum. Often, only the top substance is roughened.
Second appointment: Bonding veneers
The high-strength ceramic veneers produced in our in-house Zachntechnik laboratory, whose shape and color are perfectly matched to the patient’s teeth, are now bonded to the ground tooth surface .
A highly efficient bonding process is used to fix the veneer. The special bonding process creates a particularly strong bond between the tooth and the veneer.
Testimonials from our patients
Veneers made of ceramic, plastic or non-prep veneers?
Both the material and the way in which the veneers are applied to the tooth vary greatly.
Dr. Hager’s dentists work with high-strength ceramic veneers, the shape and color of which are perfectly matched to the patient’s teeth. In our in-house dental laboratory, our technicians produce them individually according to the patient’s wishes to ensure that your veneered anterior teeth look perfect and natural.
In contrast to plastic veneers, ceramic veneers are significantly more resistant and do not deform or discolor. Stability and durability also distinguish ceramic veneers from non-prep veneers and Lumineers. With this technique, thin ceramic shells are bonded directly to the tooth without grinding, which is why the color and shape design options are very limited and the veneers crack quickly.
Ceramic veneers are thin, custom-made shells that are bonded to the front of the teeth to improve their appearance.
Dentist Dr. Hager produces high-quality and durable veneers
The ceramic veneers are exposed to high stress in daily life, especially in the anterior region. For this purpose, the DR. HAGER dentists use a special carrier ceramic that is characterized by its industrially prefabricated, extremely robust and hard substance. The industrial ceramic blank is milled to fit exactly using the CAD/CAM process. The amazing strength of the veneers allows patients to go about their everyday lives without fear of tooth breakage, splinters or cracks.
The esthetic silicate ceramic is then individually applied to the ceramic blank by our dental technicians in fine, high-precision manual work and finally fired at over 900 degrees Celsius in the so-called sintering process.

Frequently asked questions about veneers
What are veneers?
A veneer is a thin ceramic shell that is bonded to the tooth in the visible area with high strength. The advantage over a crown is that only the visible area of the tooth is minimally roughened or ground.
When do veneers help me?
Veneers help with:
- Misaligned teeth in the anterior region (“crooked teeth”)
- Visible tooth gaps
- visible enamel cracks and enamel cracks
- non-removable tooth discoloration
- Broken cutting edges of the blades
- too small, underdeveloped tooth shapes
How long does the treatment take?
Treatment by the dentist usually takes twice an hour. During the first appointment, the tooth is minimally ground. The veneer is produced with high precision by specialists in our in-house dental laboratory. The second appointment takes place 3 days after the first appointment. We recommend that our patients have their teeth professionally cleaned promptly before treatment.
What do conventional veneers cost?
The veneer costs vary from patient to patient. This depends on: the patient’s wishes, the clinical situation and the optimum number of veneers.
When can veneers not be used?
Veneers cannot be used in various situations. These are
- Tooth clenching or grinding
- Heavily “mended” teeth
- decayed teeth or teeth that are not healthy
- Teeth broken off too deeply
Can I eat anything after having my teeth ground?
Please eat softer food at a medium temperature until your next appointment. If you eat hard food or very cold/hot food, the tooth may react with pain. This would be a normal reaction as the enamel is missing and the dentin is exposed. After insertion (once the anesthetic has worn off), you can eat and drink anything again.
Will I have any discomfort after the veneers have been fitted?
No, afterwards you can eat and drink normally (after the anesthetic has worn off, of course). In addition, no pain or postoperative bleeding is to be expected.
Cleaning teeth during and after veneer treatment - what to look out for?
After the grinding and also after the insertion of the veneer(s), you can brush your teeth as usual.
