The entire team of DR. HAGER | Zahnärzte came together to take part in the lecture on plasma-stabilized augmentation techniques. A procedure in which efficient and well-tolerated augmentations, also better known as jaw bone augmentation, can be performed.
Bone augmentation is required for patients who, after extensive diagnostics, are found to have unfavorable bone conditions, for example due to poor bone quality or a lack of available bone. An adequate solution is required for the later planned implantation with dentures.
This special biological procedure uses the patient’s own blood. The patient’s blood is taken by the practice staff for further processing. Bone augmentation can begin on the patient at the same time. This procedure is much better tolerated by the patient’s own body, is not rejected by the body and is also a big plus for wound healing later on.
