What options are there?

Whether several or all teeth are missing, we will find the optimal solution. There are basically two options: fixed dentures on implants or teeth and removable dentures with or without implant fixation:

Full dentures (also "complete dentures")

A cost-effective and removable tooth replacement solution that replaces the entire dental arch when all natural teeth have been lost.

Full dentures usually consist of a stable acrylic base to which artificial teeth are attached in order to restore both the function and aesthetics of the dentition.

A full denture is made individually and is adapted to the contours of the mouth using precise impressions and digital measurements. The aim is to achieve the most natural fit possible in order to avoid problems such as an insecure feeling or painful pressure points. A well-fitted denture enables patients to eat, speak and laugh with ease again.

Removable dentures on implants

Two or four dental implants for attachment give a denture significantly more support and chewing function. We can modify existing full dentures as well as make new dentures including dental implants.

Many people with dentures suffer from discomfort and painful pressure points. Neither adhesives nor mechanical aids offer a long-term solution. satisfactory solution. A stable anchored implant solution with the so-called ball head anchors can provide significant relief in such cases.

An implant-supported prosthesis is particularly comfortable, offering a secure hold and a natural feel. This means that dentures falling out at the most inconvenient times is a thing of the past.
Prostheses in good condition can be comfortably attached to newly placed implants (“one click”). Let our specialists inform you in a personal consultation.

Fixed dentures on implants

The most comfortable solution: all-ceramic dental bridges are attached to 4, 6 or 8 implants. (Also known as “fixed third teeth in one day”, “All-on-4”, “All-on-6” or “All-on-8”)

Depending on individual needs and preferences, dentures can either be firmly anchored in the mouth or designed to be removable, with implants serving as stable supports. Many people with conventional dentures report limited wearing comfort and painful pressure points.

Implants can provide a remedy thanks to firm anchoring. Even a complete dental arch made of ceramic can be securely attached to several implants, providing a natural chewing sensation and a high level of wearing comfort – the closest thing to natural teeth.

Further possibilities

Removable partial dentures

Are used when one or more teeth are missing but sufficient natural teeth remain in the mouth.

Partial dentures are removable tooth replacement solutions that specifically close the gap(s) in the dentition and thus restore chewing function and esthetic appearance.

The fabrication of a partial denture is customized. Precise impressions and digital measurements are used to produce a prosthesis that is optimally adapted to the existing row of teeth. Metal anchors or plastic elements are often used to fix the prosthesis firmly to the remaining teeth. This ensures a secure fit and prevents unpleasant pressure points. Because the clasps cling to the teeth, these anchor teeth loosen over a longer period of time.

Fixed implant-supported dental bridges

The fixation of fixed ceramic teeth on artificial tooth roots – dental implants – is more comfortable than the usual removable partial denture.

If several teeth are missing, a specialist determines the optimum number of implants based on individual planning. The existing jawbone and the expected masticatory load play a decisive role in the ideal distribution of implants.

A special situation arises when several molars are missing at the end of the row of teeth. In such cases, an implant is the only way to securely anchor the dentures and restore a firm bite and comfort to the patient.

As you can see, I now have a great result. I can finally laugh again. I haven't been able to laugh for a long time, I haven't met any friends. Today everything is back to normal for me, I think in hindsight it's crazy to wait so long for something like this. Now I can socialize normally again, live my life and I'm happy again.
Bettina Ribul
Treatment: Implant-supported prosthesis, anxiety patient
Mr. Hager was immediately likeable, he explained everything so sympathetically, calmly, without stress and competently, what is possible. He showed me that I didn't have to put up with it, but that there was another option. That you can replace your upper teeth with implants, even if you are as old as I am. I didn't have any pain during the treatment, just a slight pressure, so I was completely relaxed the whole time and therefore no longer had any anxiety. I would do it again at any time.
