Find out everything you need to know about options, procedures, patient experiences, costs and more below.
What options are there for new teeth?
Almost a quarter of people over the age of 65 have only a few remaining teeth or are already completely toothless. We will be happy to advise you on the various treatment concepts for the upper and lower jaw – for a secure feeling and a radiant smile in everyday life.

All on 4: Fixed teeth on 4 implants with an all-ceramic dental bridge
The All-on-4 treatment concept offers a solution with fixed dentures on only 4 implants per jaw, which can usually be loaded immediately. The entire treatment, from the removal of remaining teeth to the surgical implantation of the implants and tooth replacement, can usually be completed in a single day. The patient thus receives fixed teeth again in a single day, which immediately improves their quality of life.

All on 6: Fixed teeth on 6 implants with an all-ceramic dental bridge
For more stability and optimum load distribution, we prefer to use the All on 6 concept. Six implants offer you extended support and ensure that the denture is reliably supported even with higher chewing pressure. This procedure is particularly suitable when additional stability is required – whether due to specific jaw conditions or personal requirements in terms of wearing comfort.
As a rule, the All on 6 procedure is the best choice for most patients.

All on 8: Fixed teeth on 8 implants with an all-ceramic dental bridge
With the All on 8 procedure, you achieve the highest level of stability and functionality. Eight implants enable optimum distribution of chewing forces, which increases the load-bearing capacity and service life of the denture .
In the vast majority of cases, however, the All on 6 method is already completely sufficient.
Other options

Implant-supported full denture: Two or four dental implants provide more support for a full denture
The fully implant-supported complete denture is significantly cheaper than the All-on-4, All-on-6 or All-on-8 concepts with an all-ceramic bridge. Compared to the classic removable full denture, the implant-supported full denture offers a secure hold and a more natural feel. Well-maintained dentures can often be adapted to newly inserted implants. Let our specialists inform you in a personal consultation.

Why all-ceramic?
This is why our all-ceramic dental bridges are clearly superior to the classic plastic dentures used in the standard All-on-4 method:
-
Ceramic looks like natural tooth enamel
Ceramic imitates the natural tooth structure much better than acrylic in terms of color, transparency and gloss. This gives the dentures a natural appearance. -
Stability and load distribution
Thanks to its high strength, all-ceramic dentures can be fabricated more precisely, resulting in a more natural appearance, a more comfortable fit and better force distribution. -
Durability
Ceramic is more resistant to abrasion and mechanical stress. -
Resistance to discoloration
Compared to plastic, ceramic retains its color and shine over a longer period of time, resulting in a long-lasting attractive appearance.

How much do fixed teeth cost in one day at DR. HAGER?
Thanks to our location advantage, our own master dental laboratory, many years of experience and the fully integrated processes of the prosthetics and dental technology departments, you can get your fixed implant-supported dentures from us at a lower price.
Compared to Switzerland, our offers are approx. 30-50% cheaper.
Patients from Switzerland often bring the quotes with them. For example, the cost of a pure implant restoration including a crown is around CHF 6000. At DR. HAGER | Zahnärzte the costs are between 3200 and 3600 euros.
The costs are calculated individually according to the situation in the mouth, existing bone substance, number of implants and the materials used. As this is very individual, we are unfortunately unable to provide generally applicable prices on our website.
After a detailed initial examination, we will be happy to provide you with a fixed price quotation that shows you exactly how much new teeth would cost you in one day.

Frequently asked questions about fixed third teeth
Can I have all my teeth replaced in one day?
In many cases, it is possible to complete the entire tooth replacement in just one day. This is a modern treatment option, but it depends on individual factors such as jaw condition, bone density and general health. Detailed diagnostics and precise planning are therefore crucial to determine whether this immediate restoration is suitable for you.
How many implants do you need for fixed dentures?
The number of implants varies depending on the chosen treatment concept. In the so-called All on 4 procedure, four implants are usually used, while alternatives such as All on 6 or All on 8 require six or eight implants respectively. Individual planning takes your specific circumstances into account to ensure optimum stability and function.
Can you recognize all-ceramic fixed dentures? Does it look good?
Modern all-ceramic denture solutions impress with their natural aesthetics. Thanks to advanced material technology, they imitate the color, transparency and structure of real teeth so authentically that others cannot tell that you are wearing dentures.
How long do fixed dentures last?
With careful oral care, regular aftercare and annual dental check-ups, the implants should last your entire life. The all-ceramic teeth are also designed in such a way that they are sometimes more stable than your own teeth.
Does health insurance cover the cost of dentures?
Partly. Fixed dentures are not part of regular basic care, which is why health insurance companies only cover part of the costs.
How do I care for fixed dentures?
After successful healing, care for your fixed third teeth as you would your natural teeth – twice a day with a toothbrush and toothpaste. For particularly long-lasting quality, an individual dental hygiene aftercare program is set up for our patients. This also includes annual dental check-ups. We will of course provide you with comprehensive advice on all aspects of cleaning and the Tooth+ aftercare program. Please contact us.
